This is early morning and shows some of the first
lambs from a couple of season's ago ET program. There is
a predominance of ram lambs. The Sire is the 2001 Perth Royal Show Supreme Champion Ram. |

These Alpacas are solely for use as flock guardians. They are entire males and were in with these ET Recipient ewes during lambing. Even tough there has been considerable Fox activity, there have been no losses due to foxes in this batch of lambs.

I know the collective noun for sheep is
"flock", however it seems that the term
"gang" is often appropriate when attributed to
lambs. This is a gang of this season's ET lambs. |
We just taken delivery of this season's (2004) Recipient ewes.
We are hoping for top quality lambs. The ewes we
used are all type 4 or 5 and the ram was from Kaya Dorpers and we
think he shows promise for our flock.
